Az olasz kisvendéglők ihlette szék mellett egy jóval kevésbé otthonos hangulatú, sokkal inkább várótermek ülőbútorait idéző kollekcióval is előrukkolt Jasper Morrison a Magis-nek.

The new collection of Arik Ben Simhon has drawn inspiration from the world of sport with upholstery shapes referencing the protective sportswear/pads used in hockey & skateboarding, as well as polished tubular stainless steel structures inspired by gym equipment.

The collection includes sofas, easy chairs, occasional seats as well as more obscure items such as a rocking chair, children’s high chair, hammock and a punching bag. Ben Simhon's informal style is influenced by sportswear and high performance clothing such as revotes, drawstrings and graphic logos with a resulting typology that is both humanistic and timeless.

Legutóbb a Bouroullec-testvéreket ihlette meg a növények burjánzása, a Vegetal Chair azóta már Budapestre is megérkezett. Az idei milánói Salone del Mobilén debütált Patrizia Pozzi olasz designer Radici, azaz gyökerek, névre hallgató kültéri bútorcsaládja, mely mintha a földből nőtt volna elő. A nemesacélból készült bútorokat arra tervezték, hogy befuttassák őket kúszónövényekkel, hogy a lehető legközelebb hozzák a természetet a bennük pihenőkhöz.

During the week of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, Kartell and Etro are showcasing the POP armchairs of Piero Lissoni covered in 3 different floral prints from the Etro Arredamento 2009 collection in the display windows of the Etro boutique on Via Montenapoleone.

The colours and spring-like printed fabrics of Robin, Corella and Oriolo thanks to their almost photographic quality breathe life into the original oriental designs from the end of the eighteen hundreds and complement the minimalist and elegant design of the POP armchair with its transparent structure.

The Salone Internazionale del Mobile – designers’ paradise and sanctuary to believers in beauty – opens its halls in April. Pudelskern Space Agency will present objects of pure and natural wool to the watching world. For Pudelskern „design is not only about form, colours and style“. Their presentation at Salone Satellite will explore possibilities of sustainable development through design. The whole process of production is explored, twisted and taken apart to bring forth new objects.

Pure natural wool from sheep bred on green alpine pastures in remote valleys of the Tyrol is the common denominator for this year’s pieces by Pudelskern Space Agency – all of them shown for the first time to the public. The design team analyzed the processing of the material from shearing the sheep to the manufacturing of traditional rugs. Intervention at different stages of the process refined existing products and new products were developed from half-finished materials. Unexpected application combined with a new technology of absolutely natural coating, making the wool flame resistant and protected against moth infestation, unlocks unopened doors for the use of the age-old material. The exhibition will comprise of lamps, lounge chairs, a table and two rugs.

The Italian firm, Molteni&C will introduce its new products in Milan, at the Salone del Mobile fair. This is the preview of some of the new designs they will be showing off at this year’s milan design week.
